Okay, so I guess this is it! Not sure what overwhelms me most...beginning this adventure, or actually the fact that I am now "blogging!"
There is no time like the present to begin an adventure that has been mulling around in my mind now for about a year. I knew that I would love to make little blankets for babies in orphanages, but I felt there was something else, something more to this. It all came together on evening in Half-Price Books as I found myself, as usual, buying children's books with no real recipient in mind. Just buying books thinking about how happy some child would be to receive it! It was at that moment that it became clear to me...I could combine my love of giving baby blankets and my love for giving books and find someone who would love feeling the love behind the giving. Eureka!
I couldn't wait to talk to Ed about it (my husband, best friends, and hands-down my most enthusiastic supporter!)
